Making pictures for others demands a strong connection with the subjects in question. From corporate events and professional meetings to weddings and celebrations the common factor that connects them all is tension and moments of blast. Emotions are omnipresent, people’s interactions are complex and creating visual order through pictures is an exhaustive task.
The aesthetic that I propose as a visual artist is directly dependent on the empathy that is built between the subjects and the lens. Confidence and trust are vital. My role as a photographer lies in understanding the needs of each assignment and ensuring that precious moments are being saved. Knowing people’s behavior is one of my strong sides as an observer and predicting when something special may happen my speciality.
Emotional endurance is essential for a photographer to go beyond the surface. What appears in a second can last forever, yet it must first be seen.
